Premium Bandwidth: TheColoSite uses real-time sampling of all connected IPs through each of our carriers. Each possible route is identified, and the True Fastest Path will be updated in our routing tables for the connected IP. This matrix is comprised of many Tier-1 Carriers with excellent International, and Domestic routes. For example, majority carriers are often Level-3, Savvis, etc. These are direct connections with a minimum of a Gigabit Ethernet Interface, providing as few hops as possible between the TheColoSite Network, and any domestic or international destination.
TheColoSite Data has a network like no other. While most provider networks consist of two carriers or colocate to utilize multiple carriers, TheColoSite has moved beyond the industry standard. Instead of bringing the mountain to us, we went to the mountain. Choosing the largest nexus of carrier interconnectivity in the world, we established our primary datacenters in Dallas, Texas, the same central routing hub for most of the country's voice and data traffic. We consolidated the many carrier hotels into one extensive system that is the largest facility of its kind and we employ the latest Enterprise Class Routers and Switches for a redundant matrix that provides local access to over 70 other carriers and service providers, from three different core facilities. This optical network was built specifically to support high speed service providers and to connect key carrier hotels via optical rings, each with a TheColoSite presence to provide maximum carrier diversity, with multiple access levels to and from any one location.
TheColoSite provides high-bandwidth IP services for a number of broadband ISPs and hosting companies. These ISP companies access the UDC core network locally via all optical carrier-class switches. Internal Network Traffic is monitored and controlled real-time with burstable capacity far in excess of peak usage. Although one of the worst problems dedicated service providers face is internal network saturation, with an all Gigabit network we maintain an average usage of less than 10% of our total capacity, with plenty of room to grow.
TheColoSite utilizes proprietary technology from for optimized BGP4 routing which allows us to choose the true fastest possible path for our traffic from a large number of domestic and international fiber networks. Although many hosting company models evolve around the premise of selecting the cheapest path for their traffic (least cost routing), our company has built a very valued reputation by putting speed and performance before all else: performance comes first. We maintain a fulltime staff dedicated to monitoring and tuning our network for maximum performance and reliability. TheColoSite provides IP Bandwidth services to Data Centers in Dallas Area Carrier Hotels, and direct IP Bandwidth via Metro Ethernet connectivity via Fiber: IP Bandwidth delivery is not available in all Data Centers, and is generally not available by Metro Ethernet except in the Dallas Central Business District.
